Provynce ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Provynce mobile application (the "App") on Android and iOS devices.

  • Name, email address, and profile photo (via sign-up services such as Clerk)
  • Username and bio
  • Polls you create, vote on, or comment on
  • Social identifiers (if signing in via Google, Apple, etc.)

b. Automatically Collected Data

We may automatically collect:

  • Device information (model, OS, language, timezone)
  • IP address
  • App usage data (e.g. screen views, time spent)
  • Crash and error logs (via Sentry)
  • Push notification tokens

c. Media and Content

  • Images or GIFs you upload or select in polls or comments (stored via Supabase)
  • Text from posts, comments, or bios
  • Poll preferences and category selections

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Operate and improve the Provynce App
  • Personalize your feed and voting recommendations
  • Manage accounts and provide authentication
  • Send push notifications and app alerts
  • Monitor app usage and performance
  • Display ads (via AdMob) and manage subscriptions (via RevenueCat)
  • Enforce our community guidelines

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data.

  • Service providers (e.g. Supabase, Clerk, Sentry, Mixpanel, AdMob)
  • Analytics platforms to better understand user engagement
